Our Aviation Team advises insurers, commercial operators, airport authorities and private and commercial owners and operators of fixed and rotary wing aircraft on a variety of issues related to both general aviation and commercial operations. The firm specializes in defending manufacturers of aircraft and aircraft components in complex casualty and commercial litigation arising from aviation accidents or from product performance. We support the industry by our role as Products Liability Advisor to the Small Aircraft Manufacturers Association. Also, we have considerable experience in advising insurers with respect to policy coverage for claims arising from aviation casualty events. The lead attorneys in this practice group are multi-engine rated pilots with considerable military and civilian flight experience.
